Day 1: Arrival in Havana
After the necessary formalities, transfer to our hotel, settling in the rooms and free time.
Day 2: Havana – Guided walking tour of the old and modern city and 1 hour tour with old American cars.
Crossing the main artery, the beautiful Fifth Avenue that associativity refers to that of New York and after passing the area of the Havana cemetery with the magnificent architectural entrance that at the top depicts in marble construction the biblical composition of faith, hope and charity we will reach the historic Square of the Revolution. The place where Fidel, especially in the first years of the revolution, made his long speeches with a million Cubans deifying him. There is the Jose Marti Memorial, next to the so-called Palace of the Revolution, the seat of government and the buildings of the Ministries of Interior and Communications with the composition of Che’s portrait. Crossing the area of Vedado we will see the historic building of the University of Havana and through the coastal boulevard the famous Malecon, we will end up in the old Havana in the Capitol Square, located the homonymous building of similar architecture to that of Washington. The old Havana, designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, is a unique example of new colonial architecture, with its colorful buildings and four iconic squares that we will explore during our tour. The square of the Cathedral, the Square of Arms, the Old Square and the square of St. Francis of Assisi, where the Orthodox Church of St. Nikolas, which we will visit, to reach Naisko Templete. Next stop is the Habana Club museum where during the tour we will learn the history of sugarcane cultivation and the secrets of production and maturation of the national drink of the Caribbean, while at the end we will have the opportunity to try the famous Cuban rum. This is followed by a visit to the Old City Market, passing by Mercadares Street, where we will see a miniature panoramic view of Havana. Finally, your companion will guide you on the famous pedestrian street, due to Ernest Hemingway, Ovispo and the Ambos Mundos Hotel, located on the same street. Return to the hotel and free time.
Day 3: Havana
Free day for your personal wandering in the atmospheric city of Havana, with the charm of another era and the scent of the romantic 60’s.Each step and every corner offers plenty of material for unique photos, bars with live music to enjoy its authentic cocktails and dozens of small local shops for shopping. You can also take advantage of your time by choosing one of the optional excursions on offer.
Day 4: Havana – Varadero (190 km)
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Varadero crossing the North Coast of the island. On the way we will pass by the so-called city of the mind Matanzas, we will see the obsolete oil pumping pumps to reach our hotel in Varadero. Arrangement in the rooms and free time.
Days 5th – 7th: Varadero
Free days on the “golden sand” of Cuba, a nickname given to her due to the fine golden sandy beach. At the hotel we can enjoy all the comforts of our All-Inclusive accommodation with daily entertainment, the clear blue sea and the golden beach, to relax and unwind. Optionally we recommend the one-day cruise cruise on the nearby island of Cayo Blanco. A unique experience that includes a visit to a dolphinarium on the high seas and a swim with trained dolphins, observation of corals at a specific point along the route (supplies the necessary equipment), food with fish on the island and drinks, music dance and snacks on board.
Day 8: Havana – Return flight
Breakfast at the hotel and depending on the departure time, transfer to Havana airport for the return flight.
