Day 1: Arrival at Ezeiza Int. Airport or Aeroparque and Transfer In to Hotel
Day 2: Half Day Panoramic City Tour, Regular with Guide incl.
This excursion transmits the emotion of a multiple Buenos Aires. We will know the symbol of our city: the Obelisk. We will visit squares such as those of Mayo, San Martín and Alvear. Avenues: Corrientes, De Mayo, 9 de Julio, among others. Neighborhoods with history like La Boca, San Telmo, sumptuous like Palermo and Recoleta, modern like Puerto Madero. The parks: Lezama, Tres de Febrero, commercial and financial areas and Soccer Stadium.
In the afternoon Tango Dinner Show at La Ventana (Transfers included). “The show is made up of more than 30 artists on stage (including a choreographed musical band, singers and professional dancers), with an impressive display of production that will make emotions and feelings flow like you have never felt before. It is a dynamic and intense show that amazes the viewer, in a very special environment.
Dinner includes a three-course menu with a selection of starters, main dishes and desserts, with drinks included.”
Day 3: Half Day Tigre Tour (Delta, Tigre & San Isidro) , Regular with Guide incl.
Watching the Delta you will appreciate the generosity of nature in a very singular place. We will leave Buenos Aires City going to the north of the Great Buenos Aires looking for the natural scenery of the Delta and its islands. The way of life the “isleños” (people who lives in the islands) is very special. We will know their costumes, culture and their way of life. We will also see elegant residences located in the residential neighbourhoods of the northern suburbs. We will visit San Isidro neibourhood (stop) and the Amazing Cathedral. On the way back to Buenos Aires City, we will pass next to the Presidential Residence (Quinta de Olivos) , where all the Argentinian Presidents use to live during their Presidences.
Day 4: Check Out & Transfer Out to Ezeiza Int. Airport or Aeroparque, Regular
Flight departing from Ezeiza Int. Airport or Aeroparque (Flight not included) to Calafate. Arrival at El Calafate Airport and Transfer In to Hotel, Regular.
Day 5: Full Day Perito Moreno Glacier Tour, Regular with Guide incl.
We leave through route number 11, bordering Lake Argentino. From El Calafate to the Moreno Glacier there is a distance of 80km, through tarmac road. From the beginning, the journey offers very pleasant surprises. Leaving El Calafate, we can see at the right the Lake Argentino with its Redonda Bay. In it we can appreciate an important variety of bird fauna, from which the black neck swan, the flamingo, the vapor duck, the coot and the cauquen stand out. The eye-catching yellow color of the countryside is due to its “coiron” pasture, and among them the White and short “coiron” stands out. During the first 40km we travel through the Patagonian Steppe , then enter the National Park to observe the tree area vegetation that is mostly made of the “notofagus” family (ñires, guindos and lengas), seldom cinnamon trees, and flowers of different colors, among which the “notro” stands out because of its intense red color that corresponds to the Patagonian Andean Forest. We arrive at the “curva de los suspiros” (sigh curve), named this way because it is the first panoramic viewpoint of the Perito Moreno Glacier. There is a short stop to take pictures and we move forward to Bajo las Sombras Port. There is an option of doing an additional Navigation through the southern arm of the Iceberg Channel in order to have different views of the Perito Moreno Galcier wall. (Duration: 1 hour)
Back to the Port, we go to the footbridges where we have a service area for visitors and a system of balconies and footbridges that allow you to enjoy walks along different paths and to have really amazing views of the Glacier.
After some free time for walking and lunch (which is optional), we begin our way back to El Calafate.
Day 6: Full Day All Glaciers Tour, Transfers in Regular with Guide incl.
We start the pick up the Hotels in El Calafate at 07:15am. Once in the Port of Punta Bandera, 47 km from El Calafate, we start sailing through the North Arm of Lake Argentino. We cross the Boca del Diablo towards the Upsala Channel and to navigate between the large icebergs that emerge from the front of the Upsala Glacier. Then we entered the Spegazzini Canal and moments later we will have the first view of the Seco Glacier. We continue navigating to the front of the Spegazzini Glacier where we will also see the Heim and Peineta glaciers. We prepare to disembark at Spegazzini base and begin the visit to the area by walking through the forest path to the Spegazzini Refuge. This 300-meter trail has unparalleled views of La Bahía de Los Glaciares, on its way we can enjoy thematic stations and viewpoints. Once the sailing part is over, we will take the transfer back to your hotel about 04.30/5:00 pm.
Day 7: Check Out & Transfer Out to El Calafate Airport, Regular
Flight departing from El Calafate Airport to Ushuaia. Arrival at Ushuaia Airport and Transfer In to Hotel. PM Half Day City Tour, Regular with Guide incl.
The tour around the city of Ushuaia begins at the Touristic Pier. Along Maipú Avenue, we will see different points of interest like the Civic Square, where the National Flag was hoisted for the first time, the former Police building , the old Government House, the “Almacén de Ramos Generales” (a traditional bar) and the Nuestra Señora de la Merced old Church; all buildings known for their architecture and history. Before crossing the Fique road bridge, we will see the Monument of Malvinas Islands. From the old Airport, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city and the mountain range that surrounds it. We continue through the “La Misión” neighborhood, and our next point of interest will be Solier neighborhood, which was the first settlement of Italian Immigrants, following to the Andino neighborhood and then to the Las Hayas Hotel viewpoint. From there we will enjoy some beautiful panoramic views of Ushuaia Bay, the Beagle Channel, the Docks and Ushuaia Peninsula, and also of the Industrial neighborhood. In our way down to the city, we will see the Water Treatment Plant and the different local construction styles.
The Centennial Walk reminds us of the different groups that originated Ushuaia`s population. Along the city`s main street, San Martin Avenue, we will find the most important shops, historic buildings such as the Old Pioneers House, the new Nuestra Señora de la Merced Church, the Tourism Office, the current Government House, the City Hall, the Ideal Bar and the Post Office. At the end of the street, we have the Admiral Berisso Navy Base and the Old Prison and Recidivist Jail. Returning then to Maipú Avenue we end the experience at the End of the World Museum.
Day 8: M Half Day Tierra del Fuego National Park Tour, Regular with Guide incl.
Leaving Ushuaia city Southwest, we will travel through national route number 3, towards Tierra del Fuego’s National Park. Along the eleven kilometers that separate the entrance of the Park and the city of Ushuaia, we will make a stop near the Centro Hípico (Riding Club), where we will enjoy some excellent panoramic views of the Beagle Channel, Ushuaia`s Peninsula and Bridges, Willie’s and Les Eclauriers’ Islands. After crossing River Pipo’s bridge, next to Ushuaia’s Golf Club, we will arrive at the End of the World Station. Those passengers that would like to board the End of the World train will be able to take that optional tour. The rest of the group will await them at the end of the train trip. We continue our drive for 2 more kilometers and enter the National Park, an área reserved to protect the Subantartic Forest and its native flora and fauna.
From this spot we will be able to take a glimpse of both Redonda and Estorbo Islands. Through a path surrounded by Lenga forests and peats, we will reach Acigami Lake, a glaciar lake, with a surface of 5,50 square kilometers, and framed by mountains and forests, where we can likely be able to see different native birds. We will have around 30 minutes time to be at the services area. The last part of the excursion leads us to Lapataia Bay. Along the way we will cross Cormorants small Islands, get to see other peats and also visit a beaver dam. Once in Lapataia Bay, besides the marine coast, rich in mollusks and mussels, we will find traces of the ancient native settlers that used to live in the region. We will have some time to walk through the footbridge, from which we will be able to take photographs and enjoy the feeling of being at the end of the world. From this spot, the end of National Route number 3, we will begin our journey back to Ushuaia’s city.
Day 9: Half Day Beagle Channel Tour, RT Transfers to tourist pier in Regular with Guide incl.
We begin the navigation from the Touristic Pier of our city, towards the Beagle Channel, enjoying as we move away from the coast, a panoramic view of Ushuaia`s coast, sightseeing the most important buildings, such as the Maritime Museum (Old Prison), the End of the World Museum, the industrial area, and Mounts Olivia and Cinco Hermanos.
We sail Southwest, approaching the Sea lions` Island, where, from the ship, we will be able to enjoy the sight of sea lions specimens, watching them interact with their permanent environment in a wonderful scenery.
We continue the navigation towards the Bird Island, habitat of the Magaellanic Cormorants and Imperial Cormorants, and also a privileged area to spot specimens of the marine fauna.
Then we sail towards the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, in the archipelago with the same name, where the Mount Cervantes vessel wrecked on the year 1930. The return will be through Paso Chico, sighting Estancias Tunnel and Fique (Farmhouses), heading back to Ushuaia while enjoying the view of the imposing frame that Mount Martial its glacier give to the city.
Day 10: Check Out & Transfer Out to Ushuaia Airport, for the flight to Buenos Aires and then to our flight back home.
